Carrie Pratt works as a multimedia producer and picture editor for the St. Petersburg Times. Carrie spent the past year in grad school at Ohio University studying multimedia storytelling, web design and film. Prior to that, she worked as a staff photographer for the Times for almost 10 years. As a staff photographer she has covered a variety of large news and sports events all around the country. Carrie first grew her love of visual storytelling as a sophomore at Western Kentucky University when she changed her major from fine art to photojournalism. She also runs www.StudioBluImages.com, a successful wedding and portrait business and finds herself traveling around the country increasingly to do this type of documentary work. In her free time, Carrie freelances in photography, design, and web design and hangs out with her husband who is trying to teach Carrie to be a runner.
